The Ball is Rolling....

Today, (after a week of phone calls, leaving messages, hearing nothing, and hitting the wall), I went to the VA Clinic here in Tallahassee and finally got some help. The old saying, "The squeaky wheel gets the grease" came to mind after days of frustration. I decided I was going to squeak a little if necessary and wallah... the ball is rolling.

To make a long story short, I finally saw my primary care physician who ordered numerous X-Rays and performed a subsequent examination of my right knee. The X-Rays revealed a extremely deteriorated joint with Osteoarthritis and FOREIGN OBJECTS. Most likely, the foreign objects are pieces of cartilage that have broken free and are floating around in the knee locking it up from time to time. The Doctor's examination just brought a shaking of the his head and the before mentioned diagnosis.

The VA Hospital in Gainesville, Florida has been notified now and I should receive a call soon with an appointment to head over there for evaluation. If they deem the knee damage severe enough, (after 4 operations over the last 40 years and the knee's current condition, my doctor thinks it's a walk... pun intended), I will receive a knee replacement. I also have to see VA Physical Therapy so they can collaborate with Gainesville on the condition of the knee.

So... the ball is rolling.

Please pray that all goes well and I will receive approval for knee replacement surgery.

In the meantime, I am diligently working on the Worldwide Internet Radio Station and forming CrossWay Missions, a 501(c)(3) corporation... more on this as it develops.

God bless you.
