2020 has been a Faith Year… Faith-Trying and Faith-Building.
Faith-Trying in that we experienced a worldwide pandemic that has taken the lives of far too many. At least three friends of CrossWay Missions and one of our Board Members and long time friend contracted the Covid-19 virus and passed from this troubled world to be with their Lord and King. Many of the churches CrossWay is connected to in one format or another have struggled to keep going after being forced to lockdown, and then later restart. Many continue to struggle as they strive to bring their memberships back together again.
Yet, amid all the turmoil brought about by the pandemic and the social and political strife being experienced in America, many have turned to the Lord and have learned to trust Him more when it comes to the issues of this life. Our faith rarely grows when were are on the mountaintops… it grows when we are in the valleys. 2020 has been a year of valleys but CrossWay Missions continues to preach the Gospel of Christ via Good News Radio and the station has busted 1,357,000 minutes of sermons listened to by 209 sovereign states, providences, and countries. Actually, CrossWay Missions is now supporting an extremely productive soul-saving mission in Liberia (read about this ministry here), and that effort is baptizing 60-80 people a month.
Regardless of the struggles of this past year, God is Good… God is always Good. Though we may not understand His plan and why He allows some things to happen, WE WILL TRUST HIM and continue our work in His Kingdom!
