Year End Mission Report

What a year 2018 has been!

It is absolutely amazing to watch God work when you fully engage in missions and evangelism.

2018 got off to a fantastic start with the founding of Restoration Radio; a worldwide internet radio station. Restoration Radio went live on January 7th, 2018 and has logged over 100,000 minutes from listeners from over 49 countries. The station continues to broadcast great Gospel sermons from preachers such as Avon Malone, Jimmy Allen, Jim Woodruff, Neil Pryor, and many more… 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. As funds become available, there will be a free app (both Android and Apple) available for download. Restoration Radio’s website is https://www.restorationradiostation.com/.

February and March brought about a load of preparation for the 1st Annual Spring Revival at the Marsh Harbour Church of Christ. The revival was a great success! Campaigners from the Capital City Christian Church flew in to Abaco on April 13th and by April 17th and over 1000 printed invitations were passed out to the Marsh Harbour community. Speakers from both the Highbury Park Church of Christ and the Central Church of Christ in Nassau flew in and preached the Word of God with great power and conviction. The word of God went out in the Bahamas and three souls obeyed the Gospel of Christ. Many from the community attended and many others returned to the church and to the faith during 2018.

The month of May brought me back to the states for medical reasons. After months of doctor’s appointments, physical therapy, x-rays, examinations, etc. the VA has approved my knee replacement surgery which will happen on December 10th.

During my return to the states and after a short return visit to Marsh Harbour, God opened a door for me to help a small struggling church in Port Saint Lucie, Florida. I began this stateside mission work in mid-August and since then we have had 3 baptisms and attendance has increased by approximately 30-35 percent and we are just getting started. Please continue to pray for this small stateside mission with the Westport Christian Church.

Also, during my return to the states, CrossWay Missions was founded to aid and assist, not only my mission work, but in the future, other mission outreach efforts. The Board of Directors for CrossWay Missions consists of 5 preachers, 1 elder, and 3 dedicated Christians, all of which are mission minded and focused on sending the Gospel into the world.

Additionally, on October 15th, Good News Radio, another worldwide internet radio station went live broadcasting Gospel sermons from both Churches of Christ and Independent Christian Church preachers and like Restoration Radio, the Gospel is being preached 24/7. Also, a free app (both Android and Apple) will be available for download as funds become available and development completed. Good News Radio’s website is https://www.mygoodnewsradio.com/.

All in all, 2018 has been a wonderful year and God has blessed our efforts in so many ways:

  • 6 baptisms,

  • 4-6 restorations/re-dedications,

  • Numerous visitors in the Bahamas and stateside have heard the Gospel,

  • The founding and formation of CrossWay Missions,

  • Restoration Radio went online worldwide preaching the Gospel 24/7,

  • Good News Radio went online worldwide preaching the Gospel 24/7.

Yes, 2018 has been a great year for CrossWay Missions and we are looking forward to 2019.

To all the churches and individuals who have supported me and now support CrossWay Missions, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. Paul said to the church at Philippi considering their supporting his mission efforts:

Not that I am looking for an offering, but for fruit which may be put to your credit.

Philippians 4:17 ESV

Your generous giving and mission spirit does not go unnoticed by heaven. God is watching and because you have supported my mission efforts, whatever fruit has been gathered, you are a part of that work. You are in reality, laying up treasures in heaven.

Paul also said of those who supported his mission outreach that their sacrifice was “a fragrant aroma, an acceptable sacrifice, well-pleasing to God.” What was true of those who supported missionaries and mission outreach in the 1st century is also true of those who support such work in the 21st century. God is well pleased and your gift is an acceptable sacrifice to Him. Thank you and may The Good Lord bless each one of you in a very special way.

Please pray for those who will hear the message of the cross in 2019… that they might hear, believe, and obey the beautiful Gospel of Christ.

All praise and glory to God in the highest… for He is worthy!
