The trip from Stuart, Florida to Carrabelle, Florida is now complete.
The passage was from June 1st, 2016 to June 13th, 2016. Three of those days were spent in LaBelle, Florida waiting for Tropical Storm Colin to pass and one of those days was preparing to cross the Gulf of Mexico. The total number of days in actual passage was eight days.
The entire trip was a amazing experience, including the last 24 hours which were terrifying to say the least. The 446 mile trip was a spiritual experience where I drew so much closer to the Lord than ever before.
I have documented each day of the journey on Annie's Boat Blog dealing with the details of each day of passage including nautical details and specifics, pictures, and videos.
On the last day of the passage I was caught in a severe line of storms just 35 miles from Carrabelle. The storms were so severe I actually thought Annie could flounder and fail because I had made some serious mistakes due to my limited experience. But God was merciful and kind and rescued me from my distress. I am reminded of the passage from Psalms 107:28-31:
Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress. He made the storm be still, and the waves of the sea were hushed. Then they were glad that the waters were quiet, and he brought them to their desired port. Let them thank the LORD for his steadfast love, for his wondrous works to the children of man!
I am thankful to the Lord for delivering me from my peril. I have never been in a situation where there was a very real possibility that my life could end at any moment and there was no help possible except from the Lord. I, like many before me, cried out to the Lord in my trouble and He delivered me. Our God is an amazing God!
Despite the fear the storm instilled in me, the mission is still on course. I know that the God I serve is stronger than all the storms this world can send my way and He will always be with me as I yield my life to Him and serve Him.

Please continue to pray for this mission as I labor to raise support for this work and ready all things for its success.
I have included some pictures of the entire trip in the gallery below...
God bless you.
